Silva Accepts Change of Venue

The Ultimate Fighting Championship or the UFC’s decision to change the venue for the rematch between the UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen did not sit very well with the Champion at all and there were reports at one time that he was considering not taking part in the match but it seems that UFC President Dana White’s attempts at convincing the fiery Brazilian has reaped its rewards and he is ready to face Sonnen in the new venue.

They were slated to fight each other in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Silva’s native land on the 23rd of June, but now, it has been revealed that the match will take place on the 7th of July on the fight card of UFC 148. For almost all the Mixed Martial Arts fans in Brazil, the decision to change the venue of the match was a big letdown as they had hoped to be able to see their native hero Anderson Silva beat the loud mouth Chael Sonnen in his own backyard but that is not going to happen at the moment.

According to the reports that poured out about the conversation between White and Silva in the meeting, it has been revealed that Silva was adamant that he wanted to teach Sonnen a lesson in his home country and that he owed it to his people. He also added, as per the reports, that he could beat Sonnen anywhere and anytime but he deserved to be taught a lesson and he wanted to do that in Brazil.

But it has been revealed that Anderson Silva has accepted that he will have to fight Sonnen somewhere else and he hopes that he will be able to beat Sonnen for his fans in Brazil who are the people that made him who he is.

SILVA TALKS UP JON JONES

Anderson Silva, the Brazilian hotshot in the Ultimate Fighting Championship has recently made a very strong statement saying that no Brazilian has the capacity and capability of taking over Jon Jones. Jon Jones is currently the light weight heavy weight champion and hails from America. Brazilians are known to reign over the Ultimate fighting championship, but this one seems to be quite a difficult cut. The heavy weight, lightweight and middle weight championships are being ruled by Brazilians and this goes on to show how much they rule the fighting zone.

Anderson Silva did praise Jon Jones by saying that he has managed to keep the title championship genuinely and has put in his level best to ensure that the trophy remains with him or goes to the next best fighter. He expresses his thoughts in a manner to show that there is one to authoritatively block all Brazilians from making it to the champions in the light weight division. He did appraise the fact that the American is having a good phase in his fighting career and is being able to make the best of the moves and tactics so that he manages to keep the upper hold when fighting with his opponents.

These comments coming from someone like Anderson Silva speaks a lot for Jon Jones and he truly has made a name for himself in the light weight championship. Anderson is also quite sure about the fact that there is no Brazilian at present that has the guts and capabilities to face Jon Jones at present. Jones is at the best and he will just attract these players into a terrifying defeat. Brazil has definitely being producing quite a number of players in the recent past and one needs to wait for the right guy to come in and make a change.
